This hands-on workshop focuses on the essential role of echocardiography in guiding mitral valve repair. Participants will gain practical skills in preoperative assessment, intra-operative imaging, and post-operative evaluation through interactive case discussion and live demonstrations. The session will emphasise image acquisition, interpretation, and decision-making to optimise surgical outcomes.

Designed for clinicians managing acute circulatory and respiratory failure. This hands-on workshop provides a rare opportunity to practise ECMO cannulation using expert-led simulation and real-world scenarios. Participants will develop confidence in ECMO initiation, troubleshooting, and emergency management, with additional consideration of Impella and LVAD support.
