Dr Matt Barnard is a honorary Consultant in Cardiac Anaesthesia and Critical Care at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London.

Matt was involved in establishing and managing the Adult Congenital Heart Centre at University College London Hospitals in the late 1990’s. He has worked in the subspecialty ever since and has amongst the most experience in this field.

He is a previous Council member of ACTACC.

He holds senior governance and leadership positions in an independent healthcare group and is a  Corporate Medical Director and Responsible Officer. He has experience in both NHS and Independent Sectors in a variety of clinical and leadership roles.
