Senior Consultant
Senior Consultant, Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine, University Hospital and Medical Faculty, Cologne University. He is a member of the German Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (DGAI), the German Cardiac Anaesthesia Scientific Working Group, the European Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (EACTAIC), and the EACTAIC Echo Committee. His clinical and scientific focus is on perioperative echocardiography. He has a particular interest in myocardial strain analysis, the assessment of myocardial efficiency and the application of artificial intelligence in perioperative echocardiography.
