Aim of Day 1
• To gain theoretical and practical skills in focused transthoracic  echocardiography in a critical care setting
• Be familiar with the assessment of cardiac dimensions and function
based on 2D imaging
• Eye-balling of the right and left ventricular function
• Recognize the most important pathology
• Learn how to interpret the echocardiographic findings

Aim of Day 2
• To acquire skills in order to perform a basic transesophageal examination in a non-cardiac surgery.
• To perform an early diagnosis of the aetiology of hypotension in a situation of haemodynamic instability

Who should attend?
• Trainees and Consultants in Intensive Care, Anesthesia, Acute or Emergency Medicine

Registration fee
£450.00 – places are limited so early booking is essential. Course dinner included in the fee. Limited number of Day 1 only and Day 2 only tickets available (exclusive of course dinner)
